The  RYA Day Skipper Theory Course Details 

The RYA Day Skipper theory course is conducted in a shore-based setting, providing you with the essential knowledge to prepare for the Day Skipper practical course. Encompassing extensive topics such as navigation, meteorology, collision regulations, and safety procedures, this course is designed to equip you comprehensively.

Our passionate instructors are dedicated to guiding and coaching you, fostering the necessary experience in chart work and navigation. The fully-equipped classroom features all essential course materials and the fundamental components and equipment found on a yacht, allowing you to acquaint yourself with the safety and communication apparatus aboard a yacht.

• Over the course’s 5-day duration, from 09:00 to 18:00, with breaks for coffee, tea, and snacks provided, you will immerse yourself in the learning experience. Held in our classroom in Mikrolimano Pireas this course maintains a maximum of 6 students, ensuring that each participant receives the instructor’s maximum attention.
• Upon completion of the course, you will possess the essential knowledge needed to participate in a Day Skipper practical course, where you will apply everything learned during the theory course to practical scenarios. The course concludes with two paper exam papers to assess your understanding and competence in the subject matter.
